## Search

Use format=html for a directly readable results page. JSON is the default. The site parameter is optional and uses a source id from catalog.json. Follow each result's actual URL to inspect the original resource. A 429 response includes Retry-After seconds: wait before retrying, avoid parallel retries, and stop automatic retries after three attempts. Static source directories remain available. Successful public search results may be cached; source dates still describe the saved snapshot.

## Reading workflow
1. Understand the user's product, page/component, layout, style and implementation needs.
2. Choose sources by purpose, or query the saved directory. Read each source's static HTML directory or its matching paginated JSON; do not download the complete index.
3. Follow the real detail links, then inspect the original site when your tools allow it. Distinguish collection/category links from individual resources.
4. Return useful examples with their real URLs, a reason each fits and relevant access limits.

## Evidence boundaries
The snapshot contains 59991 directory records, including icons, categories, collections and individual resources; it is not a count of visually verified UI cases. Visual labels are exported only from existing verified image annotations confirmed by the current filter engine. Missing metadata remains unknown. Source names or keywords alone do not establish visual properties.
The data is a saved public-directory snapshot (latest recorded date: 2026-10-18), not a live crawl or a guarantee of full coverage. A listed link may require login/payment or become unavailable. Public access does not grant reuse rights. Do not bypass access controls. UIPicks does not proxy third-party sites.
